It started in a library.

In 2018 a dream was crafted at the UT Arlington Central Library to create an academy that would teach students about leadership, philosophy, and civic duty.

In 2019 while at the Library of Congress, that dream turned into a vision with the creation of Back to Parchment LLC, a small business dedicated to sharing wisdom through books.

Over time selling books fell into the background as serving others became the priority, and in 2020, while reflecting at the North Richland Hills Public Library, the first draft of the Parchment Pathway Fellowship Program was crafted, focusing solely on supporting high school students with professional development workshops, courses, and content that delve into college success, strategic networking, personal finance, and leadership fundamentals.

As 2021 dawned, Back to Parchment LLC came to an end, and the Parchment Pathway Fellowship Program took center stage, with volunteers from across the Lone Star State coming together to support and empower Dallas-Fort Worth students with wisdom related to professionalism, finance, and taking initiative.

And in 2022, the team that shaped the Parchment Pathway Fellowship Program came together to launch the Texas Institute for Leadership & Business Management (TILBM), an educational nonprofit committed to offering students across the Lone Star State free resources and certifications that could enrich personal success, with classes, articles, and publications tackling leadership, accounting, project management, entrepreneurship, and other important subjects needed excel.
