With over (30) years of legal experience, Joe Tolbert has led in the Dallas-Fort Worth business world as a seasoned attorney in commercial litigation and construction law, advocating for clients while showcasing exceptional interpersonal skills necessary to secure complex contracts and resolve diverse legal challenges.
Tolbert is a leader in multiple fronts, serving as a Board Member and former Chairman for the Birdville Independent School District, and as a Board Member for Christ’s Haven for Children, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that works to protect displaced children and youth by providing them with a housing pathway outside the traditional foster care system. In his roles as an elected leader and appointed board member, Tolbert has personally and proactively worked to ensure that children and teens in his community and across DFW are protected, educated, and have their basic needs met by caring advocates.
Tolbert is an undergraduate alumnus from Texas A&M University, earning a degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and is an alumnus of Texas Tech University’s School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.), later becoming Board Certified in Construction Law. Tolbert currently works with Brackett & Ellis, P.C., and previously worked with Harris, Finley, and Bogle, P.C. for (26) years.
